Desperate to Lose Weight Quickly


We all want to be healthy. And part of being healthy, a big part, is maintaining a healthy weight. It seems that we usually don’t take our weight serious until we are actually desperate to lose weight quickly. Each year more and more of our young people are becoming obese. That is much more serious than being overweight. There are many excellent weight loss plans and programs available to help you lose weight. There is even education programs for those who need help with that aspect of weight loss. There is no reason for us to be over weight. We just have to want to lose it.


Why do we wait until we become desperate to lose weight quickly? We almost are taking our health to the point of no return. At the end of the day if you really want to lose weight it is not that difficult. You can follow one or more of the guidelines and over time your weight will reduce. For example:- Eat smaller portions; Eat more protein; Never eat carbohydrate without protein; Drink more water; Cut out any diet drinks or diet foods with additives and sweeteners; Increase your daily exercise Eat low GI carbohydrates; Join a slimming club. These are just a few of the very simple changes you can make to your diet to help you to lose weight.


Ask people how difficult it is to lose weight and you will get some that say it’s too difficult and others say it is not difficult at all. But if it is easy why are so many people struggling to lose weight? The struggling usually occurs once we are desperate to lose weight quickly. There are many reasons for this including:- Slow metabolic rate;
Lack of motivation; Emotional blocks (this is one of the mail reasons); Unable to give up diet food especially diet drinks; Dislike exercise; Don’t like groups; Dislike meat or other high protein foods; No willpower.


So many people need to lose weight, want to lose weight, but can’t lose weight. There can be nothing more depressing than being desperate to lose weight quickly but being unable to lose any. Given that there are numerous reasons why a regime to lose weight might fail miserably, what can be done to help these people?


It’s sad to say but some people just can’t be helped or they don’t want to be helped. These people will always have a weight problem. At the end of the day we all have to be prepared to take some responsibility for our own health, whether we are desperate to lose weight quickly or not, and being overweight is very much a health issue. Healthy eating starts in the home and it is vital that up and coming parents do what is necessary to change the trend of unhealthy eating patterns. Even if they themselves don’t eat a particularly healthy diet there is nothing to stop them form encouraging the children to eat sensibly.


Why has our weight become such an issue in our society today? Is there more to it than we want to believe? My own personal view is that the food industry has got us over a barrel. It is in their interest that we become overweight so that they can sell us the various dietary foods to help us to lose weight. If there was not such thing as obesity and being overweight the weight loss industry would be out of work. This may be a cynical view but it may also be truer than we care to think. So do yourself and your children a favor. Get educated on healthy eating and change the current trend before it is too late. Let’s make the need to be desperate to lose weight quickly a thing of the past not a thing of the present or the future

Don’t Be Desperate to Lose Weight Quickly: Lose Weight with MUFA’s


For everyone who needs to lose weight, the desire is to lose it as fast as possible. There is nothing wrong with this as long as it is done healthy. However some people are desperate to lose weight quickly. And once this occurs any attempt to lose weight in a healthy manner is at risk. It is impossible to lose and maintain a healthy weight loss “overnight”. Approach your weight loss plan with patience and you will be more likely to achieve your goals.


For any of us who have looked for that magic weight loss plan, we know how many are out there. If you are sifting your way through the myriad of diets that all sound like the answer to your weight loss prayers, I sympathies. Especially for those who are desperate to lose weight quickly. There is a minefield of information out there, and no foolproof way of knowing what works and what doesn’t. More importantly there is no way of knowing if the diet is one that enables you to lose weight and then keep it off. It is always a good idea to find out if the diet has a scientific basis for its claims and whether there have been any significant trials done to ascertain if people have been able to lose weight effectively.


The people who have reached that point where they are desperate to lose weight quickly are open to any suggestion that they may come across. Did you know that you can lose weight by eating a diet high in a particular type of fat. This fat is called a MUFA – monounsaturated fatty acid. MUFA’s are the good fats you find in food like peanuts, olive oil and avocados.


There are many researchers working to discover more efficient ways to lose weight. I’m sure that there are some scientists hoping to find that weight loss method for those who are desperate to lose weight quickly. MUFA’s aren’t the answer, but research has demonstrated that MUFA’s help to seek out and erase your belly fat. They all also have an additional health benefit in that they help to lower your cholesterol levels in your blood and lower your risk of heart disease and strokes. Other studies have shown that MUFA’s can also help fight diabetes. Keep your artery walls smooth and untarnished and control your blood sugar levels. Not only do MUFA’s target your belly fat, but experts believe they prevent and even eliminate central fat distribution in your body which will ultimately help you to lose weight.


If you have ever been desperate to lose weight quickly, you are well aware that a number of problems are created. When you are trying to lose weight one of the most difficult things about the diet may be that it leaves you feeling unsatisfied and hungry. However, the higher fat content provided by the MUFA’s will have the effect of satisfying your appetite for longer. As a result you will be less likely to want to snack and also be less likely to have sugar cravings.


We all know how important maintaining a healthy weight is to our overall health. Being overweight causes a myriad of health problems that can drastically affect one’s lifestyle. So in addition to your diet high in MUFA’s it is also advisable to add some exercise to your dietary regime to encourage your body to lose weight more effectively.. With as little as 10 minute exercise the brain begins to produce beta endorphins, chemicals that calm you down, regulate your stress hormones and make you feel good. A recent study at the Ivy League university demonstrated that the secretion of beta-endorphins can actually offset the belly bloating effects of cortisol and insulin. One important thing to remember: don’t be desperate to lose weight quickly. It will happen but it take time, so give yourself that time.
