In order to lose weight and maintain that weight loss it is important to cut back on carbohydrates such as bread, pasta and potatoes and increase the amount of protein. Its is also important to be aware of the fact that fat isn’t all bad. There are some very good fats called mono unsaturated fatty acids MUFAs contained in foods such as almonds, peanut butter, and avocado that actually help you to lose weight.

A regime to help you to lose weight needs to be carefully planned to ensure that you stick to it. It is also very helpful to write down everything you eat each day as a reminder and also to help highlight any tricky areas. As far as exercise is concerned it is essential to find out the correct exercises necessary to help you to lose weight and remove your stubborn belly fat. You may find some general information online but it is always advisable initially to engage the help of a personal trainer. Tell them you want to lose weight and they will tailor an exercise regime to suit you. They may well even give you some dietary advice as well
